The number 30 (3 x 10) represents or symbolizes the perfection of the Divine Order of God. For example, Christ was 30 when He began His ministry, David was 30 when he became King of Israel, and yet, this number is also tied to the purchase price of a slave, or a servant. In this, of course, we see the Perfect Servant in Christ Jesus, and through out the ages the phrase ’30 pieces of silver’ is linked to the betrayal of the Perfect Man, the Perfect Servant, and the Perfect Son.
